By displaying an icon in the appropriate door mirror, Mazda's Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) alerts drivers to the presence of vehicles in the blind spot on either side. Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) is aimed to aid you in estimating whether it is safe to begin backing up.
